The 8th Trans Pride Week that started today will end with 8th Trans Pride Parade to be organized on İstiklal Street on July 2 Sunday at 5 p.m.
Starting the march from Ankara 12 days ago following arrest of Republican People's Party (CHP) MP Enis Berberoğlu, Kılıçdaroğlu started the 12th day of the march with issuing a statement for the press in the camping area in Dağkent region in Bolu.
"We are marching for justice. We want justice to be established in the country. We want a fair Turkey. We want the rule of law", Kılıçdaroğlu and added that they learned that special preparations have been made in prison for Berberoğlu who is pending trial.
"Imagine that a verdict wasn't passed but special places are being prepared in the Maltepe Prison. Because it is already known that that person will be convicted.
"This is one of the most solid examples demonstrating the connection between judiciary and the political authority. This is one of the most fundamental incidents that justify our march. The court will decide but it is decided by the executive body. What court does is to only voice it". (EA/TK)
