KCK Co-chairmanship reacted to Turkey’s medical treatment of Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) members wounded in the Kobani attack.
“The AKP (the Justice and Development Party) has to understand this fact; aggressive policies against the Rojava revolution do not work together with the peace policy. They have to clarify and publicly declare their stance.”
According to Fırat News Agency (ANF), KCK deemed “banditry” the police’s setting fire to the tents of people protesting ISIS attacks on the border.
“The AKP government’s intolerance and aggression towards the liberty of the Kurdish people and the Rojava revolution continue at every opportunity. They have always supported terrorist gang organizations such as al-Qaeda, al-Nusra Front and ISIS to disperse the Rojava revolution and break our people’s will to resist. They have armed, housed and trained these forces and had them attack our people in Rojava. The entire public knows of the Ceylanpınar mayor’s grossly publicized photographs with terrorist gangs. Photographs and footage are coming out that show one of the latest Kobani attack perpetrators and ISIS member terrorist Muhammed Nuri and many other injured persons being treated in Hatay hospital and various hospitals in Turkey.”
Rojava
“The AKP government, backing the attacks aimed at the dissolution of the Rojava revolution, displays their sincerity vis-à-vis the process. The AKP has to understand this fact; aggressive policies against the Rojava revolution do not work together with the peace policy. They have to clarify and publicly declare their stance.
“Those who cannot grasp the dialectical relationship between the Rojava revolution and the Northern Kurdistan revolution cannot put forth the attitude and will toward resolution and peace. In the Middle East, home to great upheavals in our time, there can be nothing more right or natural than for our people in Rojava and Northern Kurdistan to come together to share their pain, joy and hopes and to raise the struggle in unison. It is unthinkable for people’s relatives, siblings, aunts, uncles, and Kurds of the same identity living just on the other side of the border to remain unresponsive and apathetic while Rojava faces occupation. The Kurdish people and their friends will certainly cross the border and join the Rojava revolution.”
Attacks on tents
KCK Co-chairmanship also criticized the attacks of security forces in Turkey on the tents on the border.
“The AKP government’s cruel attack using police and military forces on our people in tents on the Birecik and Suruç border is the clear record of enmity against the Kurds’ existence and liberty.
“People were battered, tortured and detained in the attack on our people at the border. They forcibly confiscated, burned, destroyed and damaged people’s vehicles and belongings. These attacks, conducted with such tyranny illegal by any state law strictly constitute banditry. Which judiciary or laws could enable police and the military to do this banditry, to batter hundreds of people, and topple and destroy their cars?
“Our people will never succumb to the terror of the AKP government, but resist till the end. Our people have long destroyed and overcome in their brain and heart the walls and wire fences drawn over the frontier. The freedom movement has combined the Kurdish people’s will and struggle. No power can stand against that. We call our entire people and their friends to join and support the Rojava revolution with all their might by raising the struggle against the AKP’s attacks and pressures.”
Fight against ISIS
Mehmet Öcalan who spoke with his older brother Abdullah Öcalan yesterday on İmralı Island had also said that his brother made an assessment about ISIS.
“He made an assessment about ISIS. We will fight ISIS until the end. Likewise, we will fight until the end whoever is behind them. ISIS is not going to be good for anybody. The day will come when the powers behind ISIS will suffer harm from them as well.
“We did not converse on the presidency. We conducted our evaluations based on local governments.” (YY/PU)
