The Justice March launched by the Republican People’s Party from Ankara to İstanbul is on its 19th day (July 3).
The march started in Kocaeli.
CHP Leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu spoke as follows ahead of the march:
“We march so that everyone can live in peace. We march for July 15 martyrs and ghazis and all martyr relatives. We march against terrorism, to condemn terrorism.
“The main reason for us to do this march is that injustices in Turkey have reached unimaginable extents. Imagine an order; they are both in the position of accusing, trying and convicting. This is not justice”.
Stating that they’ve heard received some unconfirmed information that there could be provocations as they come close to İstanbul, CHP Chair Kılıçdaroğlu has asked the people who join the march to respond with applauds only.
