Celal Ülgen, the attorney of theater and film actor Müjdat Gezen, has made a statement regarding the judicial control measures imposed on Gezen.
Posting a message on his Twitter account, Ülgen has stated,
"Breaking news; upon our request, the Anatolian Public Prosecutor's Office has lifted the judicial control measures on Müjdat Gezen. In other words, Gezen will not go to the police station to give signature anymore."
Son dakika; Anadolu Cumhuriyet Savcılığı talebimiz doğrultusunda Müjdat Gezenin Adli kontrol kararını kaldırdı. Yani artık Müjdat Gezen karakola imza vermeye gitmeyecek.

His international travel ban also lifted
Speaking to bianet after posting the above tweet, Ülgen has added that the related decision covers the international travel ban as well:
"We had already made our objection to the ruling. The Press Crimes Bureau of the İstanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office concluded our objection today. All judicial control measures on Gezen have been lifted.
"The written notice has not yet been delivered to us, but the lifting of judicial control measures cover both his obligation to give signatures and his international travel ban. He will be able to go abroad to see her daughter." (HA/SD)
