JİNHA editor tracking news in Turkey’s southeastern Mardin’s Nusaybin, and Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) Mardin MP Ali Atalan’s advisor Mazlum Kavak are in custody.
Doğan and Kavak were detained in a café they were sitting in Yenişehir neighborhood of Mardin province, JİNHA reported. Doğan and Kavak were told there was testimony against them.
Following the health control in Mardin State Hospital, Doğan and Kavlak were first taken to Mardin Security Directorate and then to Nusaybin Security Directorate.
Doğan and Kavak are expected to be brought to prosecution office today (July 22).
