Arrested by İstanbul 9th Criminal Judgeship of Peace on December 15, 2016, on charges of “insulting public officials because of their duties” and “insulting the president”, journalist Hüsnü Mahalli has been released.
Taken to Cerrahpaşa Medical Faculty Hospital from Silivri Prison on December 14, 2016, Mahalli is administered treatments for MS, hyper tension, physiotherapy and shock treatment on his leg.
Mahalli will appear before judge on June 1, 2017. (EKN/TK)
