Treated for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and intubated, journalist Adnan Genç has lost his life at İstanbul Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine.
Introducing himself as "writing for 40 years", Genç was writing for several news websites, including bianet and demokrat haber (democratic news). One of the founders of the Hemşin Magazin GOR in the Black Sea region, Genç was also a nature and human rights defender.
