In the house raids conducted in the province of Adana, 31 people, including the JinNews reporter Filiz Zeyrek, have been taken into custody.
JinNews has reported that the security forces conducted simultaneous house raids to 42 different places in the provinces of Adana, İstanbul, Isparta, Mersin, Osmaniye and Mardin, where 31 people, including the JinNews reporter Filiz Zeyrek as well as one child and three women, have been taken into custody.
According to JinNews, they have been detained due to their social media posts on charges of "propagandizing for a terrorist organization" and "finding members for and committing crimes on behalf of the organization and engaging in illegal activities." (EA/SD)
