İstanbul Security Directorate has issued a written statement as to the raid conducted on People’s Democratic Party (HDP) Co-Chair, Figen Yüksekdağ’s house.
The Directorate expressing that no legal action is being taken on Yüksekdağ and her husband made the following statement:
“An operation serving purpose of seizing the suspect Fadime Ç. in Eyüp Karadolap neighborhood who is thought to be among the suspects playing role in the activities of a left terror organization was carried out. However, by the time of the operation, the aforementioned person couldn’t be seized in the aforementioned address.
“In the search carried out at the house, passport and personal belongings of Fadime Ç. were found in the room she reportedly used, and that her stay at the determined address was confirmed.
“No legal or administrative step has been taken as to the aforementioned MP and her husband”. (EKN/TK)
