Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) MP Oya Ersoy and and main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) MP Özgür Özel have directed parliamentary questions at Vice President Fuat Oktay, stating that what Safi did was profiling the people.
Ekrem İmamoğlu, the CHP's candidate and the winner of the annulled municipal elections in İstanbul, called the businessperson and artists to raise their voice after the Supreme Election Council (YSK) canceled the results on Monday (May 6).
Many public figures responded to İmamoğlu's call, posting tweets under the hashtag #HerŞeyÇokGüzelOlacak (Everything will be fine).
Muhammet Safi then shared a list of the celebrities who gave support to İmamoğlu with a message that said, "the record."

"Is profiling people artists his duty?"
Oya Ersoy directed the following questions at the Vice President:
- Are listing the dissident artists, especially those who gave support to İmamoğlu, record them, threaten them, intimidate them among the public duties of Muhammet Safi?
- Is Safi employed and paid at your organization as a public official? Or is he a party personnel who is paid by the AKP [the ruling Justice and Development Party] organization.
- Did an administrative or judicial investigation begin against Safi?
- Is it thought to apologize from these artists of ours by the Presidential Organization?
"Erdoğan said, 'profiling will end' in 2010"
CHP MP Özel asked the following questions:
- Did an administrative investigation within the presidency begin against Safi or against the people who gave order for this document of profiling to be prepared? If not, why? Will Safi continue his duty?
- Did Safi previously do any profiling practice as the Chairperson of the Presidential Archives?
- What is the duty of the Presidential Archives?
- Did profiling end as Tayyip Erdoğan [the President and AKP Chair] propagandized before the 2010 referendum? (EKN/VK)
