Interior Ministry has launched investigation against the photo showing corpse of Hacı Lokman Birlik who died by fire opened by police dragged by police vehicle “scorpion”.
The ministry said in a statement, “An investigation has been launched as to the incident reflected in the social media and allegedly took place in Şırnak. The claims will be investigated in detail.
“State of the Republic of Turkey is a state of law. Our struggle against terror will be pressed ahead in pursuant to principals of state of law.”
In the operation carried out by police on the night of October 2, HDP Şırnak Deputy Leyla Birlik’s brother-in-law 24-year-old Hacı Lokman Brilik lost his life.
HDP Co-Chair Selahattin Demirtaş said on his Twitter account, “Look closely at this photo. It was taken in Şırnak the other day. No one should forget it because we won’t.” (NV/TK)
