A raid conducted against a dogfight in Erzurum, investigation has been launched against 24 people.
İstanbul Bar Animal Rights Commission has filed a complaint following the images of dogfight shared on social media.
In the operation carried out by Erzurum Provincial Security Directorate, Erzurum-Pasinler District Security Directorate and Gendarmerie Commandership, eight dogs have been found. A criminal complaint has been filed against 24 people who have the dogs fight.
The investigation is being carried out by Pasinler Public Prosecution.
İstanbul Bar Animal Rights Commission had asked for those who have the dogs fight to be punished due to concerning articles of Law of Protecting Animals, and also asked for the dogs to be seized. (ÇT/TK)
