YSK Chair Sadi Güven has answered the questions of journalists earlier today. Underlining that the Supreme Election Council has two duties regarding the elections, one is the judicial and the other one is related to preparing and running the elections, Güven has stated,
"After the elections came to an end, the duty of the YSK regarding the judiciary has begun. It is exactly what we are doing right now.
"As the YSK, 11 members of supreme court convene to evaluate and make judgements on appeals brought to them.
"While we are making these decisions, representatives from the AK Party, CHP, MHP, HDP and İYİ Party, which are entitled to have representatives in this decision-making process, attend these meetings and contribute to the committee by expressing their opinions. The committee concludes the files submitted to it in this way. This process is still continuing." (PT/SD)
