Established in 2009, International Hrant Dink Award is seeking its 5th recipient this September.
The International Hrant Dink Award is given to inspiring individuals, institutions or groups that struggle and take risks for a more race-friendly, violence-free, free and fair world.
The Hrant Dink Foundation aims to remind individuals, groups and institutions that they are not alone and encourage them to maintain their struggle.
All nominations will be accepted by April 15, 2013.
The past recipients of International Hrant Dink Award included sociologist İsmail Beşikçi (Turkey), journalist Lydia Cachio (Mexico), Taraf newspaper former editor-in-chief Ahmet Altan (Turkey), Conscientious Objection Movement (Turkey), International Memorial Group (USA), judge Baltasar Garzon (Spain) and journalist Amira Hass (Israel).
