Nominations for The Bobs 2013: Best of Online Activism Awards have been announced.
Online users will determine the winners in 14 languages and 34 categories where bianet is nominated for the Reporters Without Borders Award.
How will I vote?
Go to https://thebobs.com/english/
1- Log in with your facebook, twitter or OpenID account by clicking on the button "Please login with any of these services to participate in the Bobs". You will be forwarded to the same page after a successful login.
2- Choose "Reporters Without Borders" at "Choose a category" option.
3- Choose the website that you want to vote at “Internet site" option.
4- Click on "Vote".
About the contest
This year's categories included: Best Blog, Best Innovation, Best Social Activism, Reporters Without Borders, Global Media Forum, Most Creative and Original.
Submissions to the contest can be in the any of the following languages: Arabic, Bengali, Chinese, English, French, German, Hindi, Indonesian, Persian, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Turkish, Ukrainian. Each of the 14 languages has a Best Blog category and Best Person to Follow category of its own.
Selected by a jury panel of 15 prominent journalists, finalists will be chosen through online voting. Voters can vote once per category per 24 hours for the "Users Award". The jury, on the other hand, selects the "Jury Award" winner in 6 categories.
