A helibus carrying two pilots and five passengers, comprising one citizen of Turkey and four foreigners, has crashed in İstanbul’s Büyükçekmece district.
İstanbul Governor Vasip Şahin has said five people lost their lives the accident, according to initial findings.
The helibus was reportedly carrying high-ranking administrators from Eczacıbaşı’s Yapı Group and foreign guests.
The helibus crashed 5 minutes after takeoff, the Doğan News Agency reported.
According to NTV’s report, the helibus crashed after hitting the television tower near TUYAP Exhibition Centre. (ÇT/TK)
