Floods hit Adıyaman and Urfa, two provinces among the eleven that were hit by the February 6 earthquakes.
Twelve died in the flood in Urfa and two in Adıyaman.
Many avenues and streets were flooded in the central district and in Eyyübiye, Haliliye, and Karaköprü districts due to the heavy rain in Urfa yesterday (March 14).
Four people were dragged by flood and died in Urfa while the dead bodies of five people were later reached in a flat on the basement floor of an apartment building inTandoğan district.
On the other hand, examining a car drawn out of flood water at the Abide Bridge Crossing, the dead bodies of two more people were found. Another person was found dead later and the number of people who lost their lives due to the flood rose to twelve in Urfa.

In Tut, Adıyaman, one container placed in a garden was dragged by flood resulting in the death of one person. The dead body of another person was reached during the day.

Eğriçay river which passes through the Adıyaman city center was flooded which caused problems on main avenues.
The tent cities risking flood are being evacuated.
The river in Doğanşehir, Malatya also flooded causing a flood in the district. The tents and the houses were flooded in the district center.
Some tent cities were flooded in Maraş.
Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu warned the citizens to keep away from stream beds. (RT/PE)
