The health workers departed to bring help to the injured who have taken shelter in a basement in Cudi neighbourhood of Cizre district of Şırnak province waiting for help for nine days are not being allowed to enter the district for four days.
Turkish Medical Association (TTB) Central Council Member Şeyhmus Gökalp has pointed out to the right to receive medical treatment no matter who the subject is and has called on all MPs and health workers who have taken the hippocratic oath.

Gökalp has noted that they have arbitrarily been prevented from entering the district for four days
“It has been four days since we have hit the road. But we have been hindered, the vehicles are being kept waiting arbitrarily and identity checks are being performed. It has been the same today (January 2).
“As we have not been allowed to take the road through İdil, we have returned and tried to take the road by Nusaybin today. But we have been told that the road was closed due to the march. And we have not been allowed to pass despite mentioning that we did not want to attend the demonstration march and were a group of voluntary health workers.
“We have prepared a protocol and will share it with human rights organizations and the press. Now we are leaving for Mardin to demonstrate to the press what we have been going through for four days.
As we had our phone interview with Gökalp, we have heard that the team has once again been stopped on the way entering Mardin. Gökalp has noted that they have been given a fine in amount of 60 euro (199 TL) for having film-coated car windows pointing out that they have been the only ones to be given a fine although there had been many other autos with film-coated windows.
