Minister of Health Recep Akdağ stated that there were 17 injured in critical condition and there were 69 persons in treatment in hospitals.
Akdağ making a statement for press in front of the Justice and Development Party (AKP) Central Office yesterday (August 21), has noted;
“We have lost 51 and have 17 persons injured. Some of these still have a risk of death. In addition, we have 69 persons injured among whom are some, who would come out of the hospital today [yesterday - August 21]. Our hospitals have received more than 90 injured in total. There is no need for additional service. I hope that all our patients regain health soon”.
Noting that the response to the injured right after the attack, their distributions to the hospitals and operations were organized perfectly, Akdağ has added that the contributions of the private sector and state hospitals were of great importance at that point and has thanked to all health workers (AS/DG)
