Buldan and Temelli said they strongly condemned the attack: "From whomever it comes, our party is against this calamitous attack. We expect that this shady incident which has many question marks around it to be enlightened immediately, leaving no room for doubt."
Citing the reports that say the perpetrator of the attack is Musa Dağ, brother of HDP MP Dersim Dağ, the statement said that it is a "serious provocation" to target their MP "over his brother's name."
"We say once again that our party cannot be associated with any incident of violence. Our politics of peace against violence, conflict, and wars are very clear. The HDP will never give up the politics of peace and solution.
"What is targeted through these incidents is the HDP's politics of peace. What is being tried is to spread war and violence." (EKN/VK)
