Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) Batman MP Mehmet Ali Aslan has been detained at the Batman Airport where he came to fly to Ankara.
Aslan announced the detention on his Twitter account.
Aslan was detained on February 18, 2017 and then released. Aslan was detained on the grounds of not attending the trials in which he has been charged with “Opposing to the Law on Rallies and Demonstrations” and “Insulting civil servant”. (HK/TK)
