In the spring concert to be organized in St. Antoine Church on İstiklal Street at 8 p.m. in İstanbul on Saturday (April 7), Stabat Mater composed by Giovanni Battista Pergolesi for Easter will be played.
European Voices İstanbul chore will accompany İstanbul Baroque Soloists orchestra during the concert. Ceren Akyıldız and Senem Demircioğlu will take stage in aria and duets. Furthermore, İklim Tamkan will perform baroque melodies by church organ.
İstanbul Baroque Soloists consists of 10 young musicians and musicians who have mastered in their instruments. European Voices İstanbul is a chore who performs in and outside of the country.
The concert, which will be performed under the lead of chief Berktay T. Akyıldız who is also serving as the project coordinator, will be free of charge.
Next project is Bach
İstanbul Baroque Soloists and European Voices İstanbul plan to play J. S. Bach’s greatest piece Matthäus-Passion oratorio with a child choir. (HK/TK)
