Greek Foreign Minister Yorgo Gerapetritis is scheduled to visit Turkey on September 5 for discussions with his counterpart, Hakan Fidan.
In separate statements, both ministries conveyed that the two ministers will address bilateral relations and regional issues during their meeting.
Both ministers have taken office a few months ago. Following the second round of presidential elections in Turkey on May 28, Fidan assumed his role, while Gerapetritis was appointed as the Minister of Foreign Affairs in Greece after the general elections on June 25.
In recent years, key matters in the Turkey-Greece relationship include the migration issue, disputes over the exclusive economic zones in the Eastern Mediterranean, and the Cyprus problem. (NT/VK)
