Karatepe: Stop if they say “don’t stop, continue”
Students also protested Ankara University Vice President Prof. Dr. Kasım Karakütük as he was delivering the commencement speech, shouting slogans “Where were you when police was here”.
“Stop if they say ‘don’t stop, continue’,” said Political Science Faculty Dean Yalçın Karatepe. “Just stop there, like people who are standing in Taksim, in Kizilay.”
Ecevitoğlu: It will be hard to tell being a “Mülkiyeli”
Mülkiyeliler Union Administrative Board Member Assistant professor Pınar Ecevitoğlu said it will be hard to explain the freshmen of Mülkiye - alternative name for the faculty - about the being a Mülkiye member.
“When we will say ‘Being a Mülkiye member is to know the discipline of state. It is about knowing the protocols. It is a privilege’, they will stand our way and condemn certain things.” (SK/HK/BM)
