Government Spokesperson: State of Emergency Should be Extended

Vice Prime Minister and Government Spokesperson Bekir Bozdağ has commented on the agenda on a TV channel. Speaking about the State of Emergency being extended, Bozdağ said, “The need for extending the State of Emergency is obvious. The State of Emergency can be extended again if the Grand National Assembly of Turkey approves”.

The State of Emergency was lastly extended for the sixth time on January 19.

Statement on Tell Rifaat: We will clean it from terrorists

Bozdağ said about Tell Rifaat:

“The YPG/PYD terrorist organizations will be cleaned from Tell Rifaat like cleaned from Afrin. It is nearing the end [in Tell Rifaat] too.

“We really want Sinjar and other places to be cleaned of the terrorist organization and terrorists. If this is done, then there is no problem for Turkey. Otherwise, Turkey has the power and might to clean these places”. (PT/TK)
