According to various news sources in Hatay province, several spectators opened up a massive banner at the 31st minute - symbolizing the license plate number of Hatay province - at last night’s soccer game in the western province of Izmir.
Prepared by Viva Göztepe group, the banner said “Do we call them dead now?” - a banner dedicated to those who were killed in the Gezi Resistance.
The game was played within Turkey’s Spor Toto 2nd Soccer League Division.
On minute 35 - symbolizing the license plate number of Izmir - hundreds of soccer fans shouted “Everywhere is Taksim, everywhere is resistance”.
