The first International Children’s Realm Film Festival to be organized by Sinetopya and Çankaya municipality will meet its audience between dates of November 9-16 in Turkey’s capital Ankara.
Sinetopya consists of academics, film critics, film practitioners and volunteers who came together in 2010. The film producer and activist group has become a foundation under the name of “Sinetopya Cinema Volunteers”.
Chat sessions on cinema, literature and children will be held with the participation of international and domestic guest directors.
The festival will close with 1000 Children Choir’s concert, the festival video entitled “What have we done this year?” and a short evaluation on the festival and the expectations for the next festival.
Psychologists will participate in as well
Pedagogues and psychologist working on child psychology will participated in the festival through movies (Two Languages One Suitcase, Turkey, 2009; Class Struggle - Klassenkampf, Germany, 2008; MissKiets’ Children, the Netherlands, 2017; Predicate and Weasel - Le C.O.D. et Le Coquelicot, 2013).
