In-person classes haven't resumed in 20 of Turkey's 83 provinces due to heavy snowfall.
After schools were suspended in mid-November in the face of a new surge in coronavirus cases, they were partially reopened on Monday.
According to statements by provincial governors;
Schools will be closed today and tomorrow in Sinop, Sakarya, Zonguldak and Bingöl, and Samsun (except Yakakent district), and Giresun (provincial center and some districts),
Schools are closed today in İstanbul, Ordu, Gümüşhane, Rize, Kars and Yozgat, and some districts of Trabzon, Bursa and Çorum.
In-person classes didn't start today in 13 districts of Kastamonu, 10 districts of Konya, 12 districts of Balıkesir, four districts of Nevşehir, and three districts of Tokat. (TP/VK)
