Explosions During Cell House Operations in Antep

Three police were killed, five police officers and four people of Syrian origin wounded resulting from a suicide bomber exploding himself during the operation launched against Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) in Antep’s Şahinbey district yesterday (October 16).

Another explosion occurred during an operation carried out against another building at around 4 p.m. The state-run Anadolu Agency announced that Mehmet Kadir Cabel, who plans organization’s provincial activities, provides logistic support and is in charge of suicide bomb cells”, was killed.
