An improvised mine has been detonated by members of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) on the Mardin-Diyarbakır road while a military vehicle was passing by. Three soldiers have lost their lives in the explosion.
According to the state-run Anadolu Agency (AA) reporting on the basis of information obtained from security sources, the explosion occurred in Sultan Şeyhmuz region on the 25th km of the Mardin-Diyarbakır road.
The agency, providing no information about the number of deaths, reported that the injured were sent to various hospitals in ambulances dispatched to the region.
