There was an explosion in the Istanbul building of the Justice and Development Party (AKP) at Sütlüce around 14:45.
Governor Muammer Güler has announced at the site that one of those ten wounded was a police officer and two of them were badly wounded, rushed into surgery.
The governor also added that it was highly possible that it was a fragment bomb, looking at the damage it caused. The police are looking at the security cameras.
The first reports state that four of the wounded were police officers and two of them were party officials. According to the cnnturk.com, Aziz Babuşçu said they had not received any concrete threats before the incident.
The DISK condemned the incident; the AKP demanded a democratic solution
President of the Confederation of the Revolutionary Trade Unions (DISK) Süleyman Çelebi condemned the incident and said, “We hope that the ruling party, the Justice and Development Party (AKP), which has just been a target of violence, will produce democratic solutions to the problems with the risk of social explosion.
