President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held another speech yesterday (Sunday 17) in front of his house.
Holding a speech amid “we demand death penalty” slogans and “Allahu Akbar” shoutings, Erdoğan has noted;
“We will definitely reach a decision regarding the death penalty issue. [...] As the Government and the state, we know and hear your demands. We can’t ignore this demand of yours. In democracies, what counts is what people say. I assume, our Government will definitely discuss the issue with the opposition and will definitely reach a decision”.
