President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan used the term “outbreak” [feveran in Turkish] while addressing those who want to have décolleté and wear miniskirts in Turkey. Addressing at an opening ceremony of several student residences under TÜRGEV Foundation, he said the following:
“Let them outbreak for wear miniskirts in the name of décolleté, we will continue to work towards bringing up a youth who are loyal to their faith as well as thoughtful and argumentative.”
He also claimed that TÜRGEV was one of the main targets during the “coup attempt” of Turkey’s Corruption Probe operations - a series of police raids on December 17 and 25, 2013.
“Whatever they wanted from Halk Bank, whatever they wanted from all global projects, they wanted the same from TÜRGEV. TÜRGEV aims to bring up youth faithful to the country. They couldn’t bear this.
President Erdoğan also reminded that authorities issued a second arrest order for Fethullah Gülen - an influential Turkish cleric residing in Pennsylvania.
“Where is this going? We are slowly seeing the secrets of December 17 and 25 operations,” he said. (EKN/BM)
