In addition to China, Turkey is in contact with Russia on Covid-19 vaccine, the President and Justice and Development Party (AKP) Chair Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has said.
"We have [ongoing] talks with Russia, as well as China. On this issue, I personally have no problem with being vaccinated," Erdoğan told reporters following Friday prayers in the metropolitan city of Istanbul.
He said it was a step which should be taken to set an example for the nation, and noted that when it comes to health, whatever needed has to be done.

Turkey previously purchased vaccines from China and started testing it on volunteers.
The government is planning to start vaccinating health workers as early as this month, Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca said Wednesday (December 2).
