The Chief Public Prosecutor's Office of the Court of Cassation has published the number of members of the political parties in Türkiye.
Accordingly, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's Justice and Development Party (AKP) has over 11.2 million members, more than all the other 121 parties combined.
The main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) has the second-highest number of members with 1.36 million. Its ally, the Good (İYİ) Party has 617,513 members, the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP), the AKP's ally, has 464,092 members, and the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP), which has the third-largest group in the parliament, has 45,302 members.
