Erdoğan: Both Sides at Fault in Firuzağa Incident

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has gathered together with a group of people from art and sports world at the Huber Mansion at the fast-breaking meal last evening (June 19).

Erdoğan spoke as follows as to the incident that took place in Firüzağa:

“A group of 20-30 people coming to the store upon the call and consume alcohol inside and outside the store face with reaction of the locals. First a quarrel, then scuffle takes place. Those involved in the incident have been detected and most of them have been seized. What truly upsets me is that the Korean artisan has suffered.

“Intervening in brute force is as wrong as holding an event that extends out to the street in Ramadan. I think both sides are at fault. I clearly say that the ones who try to create a myth of people attacking on those who don’t fast by twisting the facts are ill intended”.
