Supreme Election Board (YSK) President Sadi Güven has made statements concerning the ballot boxes planned to be moved.
Saying that the ballot boxes will be moved for security purposes, Güven said, “The number of voters to cast vote at the ballot boxes planned to be moved is 144 thousand” and added:
“It is not that first time that we receive the request that ballot boxes be moved. Security is important going to ballot box with free will is more important”.
HDP: Places of 270 thousand voters will change
Request of 19 governorships to have the ballot boxes transferred was accepted by the YSK.
While Peoples’ Democratic Party’s (HDP) objection against the ballot boxes to be moved, HDP Mardin MP Mithat Sancar stated that places of 270 thousand voters will change and most of them are HDP voters, and denounced YSK not taking their objection into consideration. (EKN/TK)
