The European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) has accepted the third application of demand for precaution to be effective for the districts under curfew, the previous two were rejected.
According to report of Kemal Göktaş from Cumhuriyet daily, ECtHR has accepted the application of demand for 16-year-old H.P. who couldn’t receive medical response as ambulances are not allowed in the neighborhood to be taken into hospital.
ECtHR has asked the government to take all sorts of precautions on the purpose of protecting 16-year-old H.P.’s right to life and physical integrity.

Association of Libertarian Legists member and Ankara Bar attorney, Nuray Özdoğan has filed a request at the ECtHR to take H.P. to hospital who has been wounded in Nur neighborhood of Cizre district during the operations launched within the scope of curfews.
ECtHR made its decision today (January 18) and asked the government to take all sorts of precautions to protect applicant’s right to life and physical integrity.
ECtHR asking for the information about applicant’s medical condition and developments to be conveyed until January 25, also asked for the main application to be made until February 15.
ECtHR had refused to see the previous applications as to curfews in Silopi and Cizre districts of Şırnak, and Sur district of Diyarbakır. (AS/TK)
