An operation has been carried out into Boğaziçi University and İstanbul Medeniyet University employers regarding the Fethullahist Terrorist Organization/Parallel State Organization (FETÖ/PDY).
Detention order has been issued for 72 people, 42 of them have been arrested so far.
According to a statement by İstanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, detention order was issued for eight people from Boğaziçi University including Koray Çalışkan and 64 others from İstanbul Medeniyet University including 19 professors from faculty of medicine.
Doğan News Agency has reported that most of those against whom detention order was issued were claimed to be users of the Bylock, an encrypted communication software allegedly used among members of the Gülen Community. (NV/DG)
