Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) Co-Chair Demirtaş’s story book entitled “Seher” hasn’t been allowed into Diyarbakır Prison on the pretexts of “it is not a course material, and it might lead to a cipher and uncontrolled communication”.
According to Mesopotamia News Agency, 10 books, including the “Seher”, brought by imprisoned Democratic Regions Party (DBP) Hizan Co-Mayor İhsan Uğur along with himself to Diyarbakır Type D High Security Prison have been seized by the prison government to be examined.
Stating that the ban decision made by the prison administration contravenes law, Uğur’s lawyer submitted objection to the Diyarbakır Office of Judge of Execution. (EA/TK)
