Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Co-Chair Selahattin Demirtaş and HDP deputies Garo Payan and Mithat Sancar joined the Bugün TV program today.
"In past our party buildings were raided just like that. Our friends were taken by being handcuffed. Thus, we empathize with you", said Demirtaş.

Demirtaş stating they have difficulty in access as the TV building is surrounded by police said these:
"We could reach here by trying several streets. There are thousands of police build up. Are we surprised? No, unfortunately not. In AKP governorship, such things have occurred again, which didn't surprise us.
"It is a very sad situation. It is unbelievable that a state can act like a criminal organization.

"Turkey is not a country of institutionalized democracy. There were many efforts for that. I had hope to solve our issues within democracy and law. This is a step oriented to undermine this hope.
"Court may take wrong decisions. Trying to perform the decision by brutal force means the crime has become layered. While trustee appointment is controversial, the trustee being subjected to usurpation, cables being unplugged have no place in law.
