DBP Co-Chair Yüksek Released

Democratic Regions Party Co-Chair Kamuran Yüksek who was taken into custody in Kars where he went for Newroz celebrations, has been released after his testimony.

Democratic Regions Party (DBP) Co-Chair Kamuran Yüksek who was taken into custody in Turkey’s eastern province of Kars has been released after interrogation.

Yüksek had been taken into custody in the morning hours from his hotel in Kars where he had gone for Newroz celebrations. The suit brought before Batman Criminal Court of First Instance due to a speech Yüksek had in Batman earlier has been alleged for the custody.

Taken to Kars Court, Yüksek has been released after giving his testimony. The trial continues. (ÇT/DG)
