About the Cycling Women
The Cycling Women (Pedallayan Kadınlar) has been organizing bicycle- and women-themed activities in Ankara since 2015. The platform was founded with the aim of helping women to discover ways to express themselves freely. For the Cycling Women, one of these ways is the bicycle.
Burçin Tarhan from the first bicycle platform in Ankara belonging solely to women has made the following statement about the event that will take place at the opening night of the 21st Flying Broom International Women's Film Festival:
"We, the Cycling Women, will pedal in the name of art and solidarity at the night of May 10 with the ray of hope that we have for the beautiful days where our hearts as women will be bright and open. With our iron brooms, we will cheer the streets of Ankara." (ÇT/SD)
