A rocket attack was launched on an armoured vehicle carrying the personnel of Gürbulak Customs Directorate in Turkey's eastern province of Ağrı yesterday (March 3) morning.
While one security guard died on scene, a customs official named Özgür Kavastan lost his life later in the day after getting injured in the attack. There are also 35 injured personnel, with three of them being in critical condition.
The scene of the incident is located three kilometers from Gürbulak Border Gate between Turkey and Iran, the tire of the vehicle was hit by the rocket and the service vehicle was dragged to an empty field. (EKN/VK)
