Another amendment has been made regarding the curfew in Sur district of Diyarbakır.
In its official website, Sur sub-Governorship has declared on Saturday (May 21), that curfew had been declared in the respective neighbourhoods on December 11, 2015 and has been lifted in 14 streets of these neighbourhoods on May 22, as of 8 a.m.
Yet the curfew in the city which had entered into force on December 2, 2015 has not been lifted entirely and is still in effect in many streets.
Some of the residents of the neighbourhoods and streets in which the curfew has been lifted have begun to return to their homes.

The curfew declared in Cevatpaşa, Fatihpaşa, Dabanoğlu, Hasırlı, Cemal Yılmaz and Savaş neighborhoods, and Gazi street on December 2, had been paused for 17 hours on December 11.
Another curfew was declared in six neighborhoods and one street on December 14, 2015.
As the curfew ended in Gazi street on December 30, 2015, it continued in Cevatpaşa, Fatihpaşa, Dabanoğlu, Hasırlı, Cemal Yılmaz and Savaş neighborhoods.
The sub-Governorship declared curfew in Abdaldede, Alipaşa, Lalebey, Süleyman Nazif and Ziya Gökalp neighborhoods, and Melikahmet street on January 27, 2016.
Curfew spread to the entire district when a curfew was imposed on Camii Kebir, Camii Nebi, İskenderpaşa and Melikahmet neighborhoods on February 3, 12 a.m.
As the curfew was still in force in 15 neighborhoods, it had been lifted in Abdaldede, Alipaşa, Lalebey, Süleyman Nazif, Ziya Gökalp, Camii Kebir, Camii Nebi, İskenderpaşa and Melikahmet neighborhoods on February 3. The curfew was still ongoing in six neighborhoods.
Another amendment had been made on February 9 and the curfew had been lifted in Cevatpaşa neighbourhood and Gazi street on March 13.
