Curfew has been declared in Günyüzü village of Beytüşşebap district in Şırnak province as of 3 a.m. today (June 22).
The Governorship’s official statement doesn’t include any information as to when the curfew will be lifted.
Curfew declared earlier in this Ilıcak village of the district had lasted one day.

The district in eastern Şırnak is located approximately 20 km away from the Iraqi and Syrian borders. According to the census in 2015, its population is 17.100, 852 of which is from the rural area and 5,248 is from the center of the province. Ilıcak village is located 125 km away from the center of Şırnak and 7 km from Beytüşşebap province. The village has an elementary school and drink-water supply network. Yet there is no community clinic or sanitarium.
