Curfew was declared in nine villages of Lice district in Diyarbakır province as of 5 a.m.
It was stated that operations will be launched in these villages.
End time of the curfew hasn’t been announced yet.
According to the statement, the curfew will be imposed on villages of Kayacık, Ortaç, Yalaza, Tepe, Arıklı, Serince, Çağdaş, Dibekköy and Yolçatı.
Diyarbakır Governor Provincial Gendarmerie Commandership’s written statement was released on Governorship’s official website. The statement said that “the operations will be launched to neutralize separatist terror organization [PKK] members and coconspirators”.
