Curfew has been declared in 77 villages and hamlets in the districts of Hazro, Lice and Kocaköy in Turkey's southeastern province of Diyarbakır on the ground that an operation will be conducted in the region.
Referring to the Law no. 5442 on Provincial Administration in the statement on its website, the Governorship has announced that the curfew has been in effect as of 9 p.m. on October 29 in the following villages and hamlets:
* In the district of Lice: Villages of Zümrüt, Gürbeyli, Kıpçak, Damar, Sığınak, Kıyıköy, Çıralı, Dibekköy, Budak, Dallıca, Arıklı, Çağdaş, Yolçatı, Tepe, Kutlu, Kayacık, Serince, Kabakaya, Uçarı, Yalaza, Ortaç, Ziyaret, Bağlan, Oyuklu, Çavundur, Esenler, Dolunay and Türeli; and Hamlets of Ahmetbey, Guçik, Kola, Hasana, Navaladiriş, Dingil, Ayşe, Hacıhüseyin, Kuruca, Dablo, Alataş, Sınır, Pınar, Kolbağı, Bakanlar, Kalkanlı, Beğendik, Hacıcemil, Esenli, Çaylarbaşı, Göçer, Kerpiçören Çanak, Sağlam and Hevselbey;
* In the district of Kocaköy: Villages of Arkbaşı, Tepecik and Boyunlu; and Hamlets of Akdiken, Hacıreşit, Varlık, Işıklar and Gökçe;
* In Hazro: Villages of Çitlibahçe, Sarıerik, Ormankaya, Meşebağları, Kavaklıboğaz, Dadaş, Kırmataş, Terdöken and Gözebaşı; and Hamlets of Şahgeldi, Bayram, Nebiya, Yılgeçti, Teknebaşı, Ajikan and Eldeğemez.
The ending date of the curfew has not been declared.
190 curfews in Diyarbakır
The Human Rights Foundation of Turkey (TİHV) Documentation Center has determined that curfew was declared for at least 332 times in 11 provinces and at least 50 districts from August 16, 2015 to October 1, 2018.

According to the report, at least 1 million 809 thousand people have been affected due to these curfews. The report has also shown that 190 curfews have been declared in Diyarbakır before.
