The Governor's Office of the southern Mardin province of Turkey ordered a curfew in nine rural neighborhoods and the included villages.
In the announcement by the governor's office, it was stated that an operation would be carried out in the rural areas within the borders of the district in order to "seize shelters, depots, depot areas and anti-aircraft sites."
Curfew has been ordered in Tekağaç, Sapanlı, Mağaracık, Arpalı, Bahminin, Kaleli, Şekrin, Yol, Güneli neighborhoods of Nusaybin, Mardin as of 04:00 am. today (May 2) according to the related provisions of the Law for Provincial Administrations.
The Governor's Office made a second announcement at around 11.00 am. and stated that the operations were completed and the curfew ended. (AS/PE)
