Diyarbakır Governorship on its official website has announced that curfew was declared today (June 6) as of 12 p.m. in 18 villages of Lice district of Diyarbakır province in southeastern Turkey.
The Governorship has also informed that an operation would be carried out in the region where the curfew is in effect.
In addition, the curfew declared in Kulp district of Diyarbakır in 10 villages due to an operation that was launched on June 4, was lifted as of 12 p.m. today.
The curfew in Lice is in force in following villages:
Akçabudak, Örtülü, Ulucak, Saydamlı, Kılıçlı, Yorulmaz, Güldiken, Üçdamlar, Baharlar, Bayırlı, Hedik, Tuzlaköy, Yamaçlı, Kıralan, Dernek, Konuklu, Yünlüce and Yaprakköy villages and hamlets.
It has not been announced when the curfew would be lifted. (AS/DG)
